Slug (Manning Gun)
To Blast the "Enemy" Out of the Baltic.
Kiel, Germany.....During recent German submarine maneuvers in the Baltic Sea this impressive picture was made. A German sub crew is manning the heavy gun mounted forward of the hatch, ready to blast the "enemy" out of the sea. The submarine flotilla is expected to smash any blockade that might be imposed on Germany by an enemy fleet.
