Female Snapshooters Faces Nazi Military Court
POLAND........Somewhere in Poland Bayla Gelblung, Jewish-Polish woman Franc Tireur, faces the military court which will decide whether or not she will face a firing squad for her sniping of German soldiers. Activities of Bayla and others like her have proven a thorn in the side of the invading German armies. Bayla's case is interesting in that she wears a military uniform -- civilians accused of sniping are executed out of hand.
