General Goering, Prussian Premier, and Frau Emmy Sonnemann, the stage and film actress, were married in Berlin with the most elaborate ceremony since the war. Following a civil ceremony in Berlin Town Hall, a second ceremony conducted by Reichsbishop Mueller, head of the Nazi Church, took place at the Cathedral. Hitler was one of the two best men. 33,000 Storm troopers and members of other Nazi organisations lined the streets.
