Description

verso labeled in typeset: SCH300006
A crater left in a Berlin street by a "bomb" during the city's day of air "attack", staged under the direction of Air Minister Goering. The mock attack was the most realistic ever held in Germany. Throughout the day first-aid squads and firemen were at work in the streets, and after dusk no light was permitted to show anywhere.
