Berlin
verso labeled in typeset: SCH288898 With the announcement that "the honor and security of the German Reich will again be intrusted to the German nation's own might," the Government promulgated a law reintroducing universal military conscription that will bring Germany's peace-time army up to a possible 500,000, thereby scrapping the Versailles Treaty. At least 224,000 additional troops will augment the 100,000 maximum permitted by the voided treaty. All branches of the nation's defense will be affected and these planes in the Tempelhofer Airport will no doubt be joined by many new ones.
