Danzig Germans Hear Forster's Speech
Danzig - Gathered in the Long Market Place, some 100,000 Germans of the Free City of Danzig wait patiently behind a strong cordon of police and soldiers for the much heralded speech of Nazi Gauleiter Albert Forster. He had just come from a conference with Adolph Hitler at Berchtesgaden and was expected to outline Germany's plan to bring the Free City into the Third Reich. Forster, however, merely repeated the determination of Danzig Germans for union with Germany, and declared that Hitler is with us.
