German Contraband Control in Action
A cutter from a German contraband control boat is lowered into the sea so its crew may board one of the vessels stopped for contraband search. In most cases, the halted ship is taken to a nearby port for thorough check of papers and cargo. Most of the Nazi patrolling is being done in the North Sea.
